HistoryThe Special Touch Car Wash was founded to give people with disabilities an opportunity to gain vocational skills to join the work force. When we first started, we had no idea what a fantastic opportunity this was. Special Touch Car Wash employed several people with cognitive disabilities. Under a well structured vocational program, we have been successful at developing leaders in the work force that may not have been given an opportunity to work otherwise. Since 1989, we have provided our customers with award winning automotive detailing service provided by the Special Touch Car Wash vocational department. Our employees work with our vocational department teaching our participants new vocational skills as well as developing their skills to learn how to work as a team.
